Build custom AI agents, workflows, and apps with Microsoft's end-to-end conversational AI platform.
Microsoft Copilot Studio is an end-to-end conversational AI platform for building agents using natural language or a graphical interface. You can design, test, and publish agents that answer questions, summarize information, take actions, automate workflows, or operate autonomously by planning and escalating work items. Agents can be published to Microsoft Copilot or used standalone, and when connected to Copilot they surface in Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot Chat.
The platform includes access to default and custom models, plus over 11,000 models through Azure AI Foundry. It supports Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, and Turkish. Pricing uses Copilot Credits sold in tenant-wide packs of 25,000 credits for CAD $271.40 per pack per month, or a pay-as-you-go meter with no upfront commitment. For Microsoft 365 Copilot license holders, usage of agents published to Microsoft 365 Copilot is included.
Agents are expert systems that surface in different channels, including within Copilot. They use AI to automate and execute business processes for a person, team, or organization. They can answer user questions by retrieving or summarizing information, take actions and automate workflows, or operate independently with dynamic planning and escalation.
Yes. When you publish to Copilot, your organization can use the agent within applications employees frequently work in, such as Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot Chat.
Power Virtual Agents is now included in Microsoft Copilot Studio. The same features continue to work, alongside additional capabilities for creating and orchestrating agents.

Copilot Studio is the comprehensive tool for building agents deployable across multiple channels. Organizations pay only for usage when they select the pay-as-you-go plan. For those licensed for Microsoft 365 Copilot, usage of agents published to Microsoft 365 Copilot is included in their license.
Copilot Studio is sold as tenant-wide Copilot Credit packs of 25,000 Copilot Credits each, priced at CAD $271.40 per pack per month. A pay-as-you-go meter is also available with no upfront license commitment, billed monthly based on the Copilot Credits consumed.
There are no in-product feature or capability differences. The only difference is payment: Copilot Credit packs are purchased up front, while the pay-as-you-go meter lets customers pay only for the Copilot Credit capacity they use at the end of the billing period.
To set up pay-as-you-go billing for an environment, you first need an active Azure subscription that you can link to that environment. Documentation provides further details.
Generative AI within Copilot Studio is designed to align with Microsoft's responsible AI principles, including fairness, reliability and safety, privacy and security, transparency, inclusiveness, and accountability.
